Brand new GSD electric campable cargo bike from the Tern family.
Already famous and practical, easy and functional, the new GSD has been improved to offer more comfort and more power.
The new Bosch Cargo Line central motor offers a power of 85Nm, which greatly facilitates starting on slopes and acceleration with heavy loads.
The new GSD has wider and internally reinforced tubes, so the gross weight limit is up to 200Kg. Tern has studied a different angle for the handlebar which moves away from the seat as it gets up, to facilitate riding for taller cyclists.
The new frame also has rear supports for holding heavy saddlebags or usable as footrests for passengers.
The new GSD is fitted with a lockable suspension Suntour fork which makes riding the bike much more stable.
The GSD electric bike is designed in three different versions:
- GSD S10: Shimano Deore 10V gearbox.
- GSD S00: Bosch Performance CX central engine and Enviolo continuously variable automatic transmission. With this type of latest generation gearbox, you can choose the desired pedaling frequency, in fact the enviolo gearbox automatically switches to the optimal ratio, even uphill. In this way, you can always drive with a homogeneously distributed load, carefully and without reaching the limit for having used a pedaling frequency that is too high.
- GSD R14: Bosch Cargo Line motor providing up to 85 Nm of torque and 400% support, Bosch dual battery system (1000 Wh) for a range of up to 206 km (128 mi) and Gates CDX belt drive, silent, smooth and virtually maintenance-free
