Fat Bikes
Fat Bikes represent the evolution of mountain bikes. These bicycles are designed for those who enjoy extreme adventures and reaching places unreachable with a classic mtb.
The two main features are the "big wheel" and the low tire pressure. The increased section allows the bike to have absolute adherence, while the pressure (which may vary from 0.5 to 1.0 bar) allows it to "float" on soft surfaces such as snow, mud or sand or particularly uneven roads, such as riverbanks, woods or railway sleepers. The weight of a fat bike is very similar to that of a mountain bike and the frame can be either in steel or aluminium.
