The Gram was born for E-Enduro, the one made up of breathtaking descents achieved by conquering the most technical climbs. Full carbon means new lightness, maximum rigidity, extreme flexibility. The Gram marks an epochal turning point in THOK E-Bikes Enduro. We move on to the next level, nothing will be the same as before no matter how steep the descents or arduous the climbs, the Gram will tackle every type of trail with malice, conquering all the peaks, conquering all the slopes.

With the Gram THOK E-Bikes enters the high-performance world of carbon, the fiber that allows the creation of different and elaborate shapes and leaves ample space for creativity.

The Gram frame is unique and born from scratch: quality of the material, lay-up and design of the Gram were studied and designed in THOK to merge into incredibly efficient geometries, which ensure a perfect balance between flexibility and stiffness.

The unidirectional arrangement of the carbon fibers (Carbon UD) allows them to be excluded in areas where they are not necessary as they are not used. Which means: greater thickness in the points of maximum stress, less thickness where it is not necessary. This ensures the Gram absolute resistance for enduro use, maximum lightness and riding comfort.

The Gram frame is made of "high resistance" carbon (more resistant, less rigid) and "high modulus" carbon (more rigid, less resistant).

The balance in the distribution of the same within the frame was evaluated through the use of FEM tests: corners, curves and junction points were reinforced to ensure maximum resistance and flexibility; engine area, head tube and rear stay are characterized by extreme rigidity.

The Gram is a true “Full Carbon”. All frame bearings are positioned in direct contact with the carbon without aluminum bushings. A detail which, in addition to preventing problems caused by friction and wear, is an undisputed indicator of quality.

Thanks to the use of carbon, Gram did not have to make structural compromises. The watchword for the study of geometry was "zero limits". New angles, new lines, new shapes, excellence.

The full carbon rear stay has asymmetric rectangular structure lower stays with integrated cable routing. A masterpiece of chassis construction. It ensures unprecedented rigidity and is an expression of maximum traction uphill and extreme reactivity downhill.

The travel of the rear wheel is extremely progressive, it absorbs any type of obstacle on downhills ensuring maximum traction on uphills.

Shimano System

• The progression of an engine is the way it delivers assistance: Shimano is without peaks. The sensation is of having a very trained leg
• The elasticity of an engine is identified by the passage between the thrust and release phases: with Shimano it is constant and manageable
• The Q factor (the distance between the cranks) of the EP8 motor is reduced: pedaling is more natural
• The EP8 is one of the lightest and least bulky ebike motors, it has a small and intuitive display, with the possibility of customizing and storing parameters
  
  

The Gram is equipped with a closed Shimano EP8 system and a 630 Wh battery which ensures lightness, easy handling and durability.
