Duo PF Mobility Adults Electric Tandem Tricycle - P20

DUO is the original Electric Tandem Tricycle for two people of PF Mobility.

Duo is much more than just a three-wheeled bicycle, it is the regained freedom for every person who has hearing or motor difficulties, and allows you to work out and have fun with the bike, with the support of a nearby companion.

The DUO bicycle is well-known for its ease of use, flexibility and Easy to assemble and safe to drive, it has comfortable seats that can be easily moved forward or backward while driving.

Duo is extremely sturdy, it has a very long warranty (over 10 years) and is a valid recognized rehabilitative aid.

Possible configurations:

• Duo Pedelec Basic: the driver and the passenger can decide for themselves the gear to use, the passenger wheel is free and does not have the ability to brake, which ability is left to the main driver. 
• Duo Reha Pedelec Rehabilitation: compared to the Duo Basic, this one has a system that can be switched on or off which allows the passenger to ride actively and thus strain the muscles for rehabilitation or to rest and get carried in a pleasant walk. 

The battery is removable and charging can then be performed anywhere.

Front wheel motor P20
All P20 models from PF mobility are equipped with the powerful and quiet 36 V / 250 W hub motor from Denmark's ProMovec. It is an absolutely powerful and compact motor with planetary gears and a low weight that ensures a powerful and smooth ride. Planetary gearboxes cover a specific production principle in terms of gear ratio, where the motor design guarantees the transmission of a high torque taking into account the dimensions.

The motor is located in the front wheel, combined with a battery that sits on a rail behind the seat above the axle. The battery can be charged while sitting on the rail or carried inside; at low temperatures (below 10 ° C) it is necessary to charge inside, which ensures the maximum possible battery life.

The motor and battery system is therefore a system designed and developed in Denmark, where design and high quality standards are key concepts.
Progress is ensured by a so-called speed drive system. A sensor located on the pedal arm ensures that maximum assistance is obtained from the engine at each assistance level or auxiliary level: there are up to 5. When the assistance level is set, the speed is then adjusted. Thus, eg. the assistance level from 1 to 10 km / h and the assistance level 5 corresponds to 25 km / h. The manufacturer calls the system "PAS" (Pedal Assist System), also known as the rotation-based propulsion principle.
