The Triobike Taxi is a bike for transportation of more people of the prestigious Danish company Triobike.
Comfortable for passengers and easy to drive.
In addition to being an electric bike for the transportation of children and adults, it is also designed for people with physical disabilities as it has an easily accessible seat.
The special removable centre plate on Triobike’s Taxi allows anyone with walking difficulties to sit down easily without having to raise the feet. This function ensures that getting on and off is safe and without effort
Once seated, safety is guaranteed by the passenger belts.
The seat of Triobike’s Taxi is 90 cm wide, one of the largest cargo bike seats on the market, and is ergonomically designed for a relaxed seating position.
The new Triobike Taxi has a spacious storage box under the passenger seat with an impressive volume capacity of 70 litres.
The new Triobike’s Taxi is easy to ride effortlessly thanks to two drive systems to choose from:
- Brose S Unit central motor. With this motor, you can easily reach a hilltop with 2 passengers. With a torque of 90 Nm, the Brose Drive S is the most powerful and quietest central motor on the market. The system has been tested in extreme weather conditions. The battery is quick and easy to recharge (just like a cell phone) and has a long battery life. All of Triobike’s e-systems comply with the EN 15194 standards.
- Rear traction: equipped with the super-reliable Promovec e-power system. This engine helps to climb the hills without any problem, even with fully loaded pod.
The front wheels are slightly inclined to improve the handling and the stability of the bike during the riding. In addition, the Triobike’s trikes are designed to lean in when steering. This feature not only delivers a smooth and comfortable ride: having the mass of the rider on the same width of the curve also increases the stability and ride comfort.
The Triobike Taxi’s cab is made exclusively with sustainable wood, certified with both Forest Stewardship Council and PEFC.
Taxi Triobike has an optional retractable hood and waterproof cover for bad weather. Its many windows ensure an all-round view.
