Mountain Bikes
The Mountain Bike is generally used to address rough terrains and uneven trails, it has a stronger structure than a road or city bike and a more resistant frame; for this reason it is ideal for riding on winding roads such as mountain’s. There are different kinds of MTBs which differ with regard to the intended use:
Rigid MTBs are lacking suspensions and they might be better suited for those who do not want to go off-road or do not want to delve on very uneven paths. Designed for those who do not want to go on extreme trails but prefer enjoying less demanding dirt roads.
Front Suspension MTBs, also called Suspended or Hardtail, are characterized by the front suspension fork which ensures a troke of about 80-100 mm. They are lighter than the dual suspension and more easily manoeuvrable.
Full Suspension MTBs, also called Dual Suspension or Softail, have both suspension fork and frame and are built to provide total shock absorption and be ideal in harder and uneven tracks.
