Bianchi is the oldest and most famous bicycle manufacturer in the world. Founded as a small workshop for cycle construction and repair, the company's business has a huge and steady expansion since 1899.
Since the beginning, Bianchi devoted itself to cycle racing, founding its own team and winning numerous trophiesthe Bianchi brand is one of the most prestigious brands in the production of racing bikes used by the great champions of the past like Giovanni Gerbi ("The Red Devil"), Girardengo, Fausto Coppi, Gimondi and Marco Pantani.
On May 1997, the Bianchi joined the world's leading company in the bicycle industry: the Swedish Cycleurope AB groupthe Bianchi Group’s brands were then added to those of Cycleurope, creating a unique player in the bicycle market in terms of breadth and capillarity of worldwide distribution.
Nowadays, the Bianchi brand has decided to keep the design and the final production facility of its high profile professional frames, called "Racing Department", in the Italian factory of Treviglio, adding value to Made in Italythe production, however, is not limited only to the racing bicycles assembly. The wide Bianchi’s products catalogue includes a number of cruiser bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes (pedal assisted) and BMX.
