Salamander is Wike’s assisted pedalling cargo bike that turns into a stroller bike within a second!

Salamander is the stroller bike that works perfectly as a standard Dutch style cargo bicycle or double stroller for children and can be instantly switched between the two means without effort, simply by pressing a release lever and following a simple sequence of manual actions. In stroller mode the handlebar is constrained to a bracket, which allows to easily manoeuvre the three wheels. In bicycle mode, however, the third wheel slips out and installs quickly on a special hook, positioned on the right side of the bike. The video shows its ingenious simplicity.

The bicycle frame is made of steel while the base of the support is made of ABS plastic with an adjustment for two seat heights. The provided seats can be easily removed and a car seat can be attached to the cargo base. In this case, the pod carries only one child.
